DPS is now hiring a Senior Cook for a Collegiate Facility in Evansville IN. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.

Senior Cook Job Details:

Schedule: 12:00pm - 8:30pm (Days vary)

Location: Evansville IN

Temporary to hire

Starting Pay Rate: $19.17/ hour + (based on experience)

Senior Cook Responsibilities:

* Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for lunch services.
* Follow recipes and production guidelines accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
* Demonstrate strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking methods, including sautéing.
* Provide courteous and professional customer service in a front-facing cafeteria role.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
* Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hospital dietary guidelines.
* Assist in training or guiding junior kitchen staff when needed.

Education Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent, required.
* Food Handler Certification

Job Requirements:

* 3+ years of Cook-Senior experience.
* Strong knife handling, cooking, and sautéing skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
